Transfer Agency AML Officer

Main responsibilities

My client, a global leader in financial services, requires an AML Officer to join their Transfer Agency Registration team to support the on boarding of a new client. The successful candidate will work within an investor AML / on boarding work-stream of the overall project, reporting to the Registration department manager. Prior investor AML/CTF knowledge, from an on boarding or review perspective is essential. There is a very rewarding and generous salary on offer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review of investor AML/KYC documentation according to relevant AML legislation and internal policy
• Perform sanction screening and investigate potential matches
• Identify process efficiencies in the course of their daily work and propose to line managers
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Transfer Agency processes and Systems
• Complete all tasks including the assessment of high risk cases and associated query resolution / handling, to meet project requirements in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure business and project deadlines are met on a consistent basis
• Positively influence team morale in order to achieve set standards and goals
• Display awareness of daily work levels and overall business needs by identifying and taking prompt action on priority items, displaying effective time management

Person Specifications

Desired Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Prior experience within AML/KYC remediation project
• Knowledge of AML/KYC function and practical application
• Sanction and PEP screening
• Ability to review and assess investor documentation
• Practical experience within a Registration or AML function with Transfer Agency
• Excellent administrative and business support skills
• Excellent organisation, planning and co-ordination skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of procedural, technical and product requirements within Transfer Agency business
