Investment Operations Supervisor | Boutique FS Provider in the IFSC

Main responsibilities

This is an excellent permanent opportunity to join a boutique financial services provider based in Dublin’s IFSC. Reporting directly to the Investment Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the daily pricing of multiple asset types, monitoring the trade capture process, processing daily corporate actions across the business as well as integrating data from all external parties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Pricing across multiple portfolios including numerous different asset types
• Monitoring Trade Capture and Security Setups
• Daily Corporate Action processing
• Managing, monitoring & integrating 3rd party files into In house systems on a daily basis
• Dual Project & Operations Role
• Liaising with 3rd parties to ensure correct and prompt delivery of files
• Adhere to deadlines, communicate delays to manager and ensure work is completed each evening
• Systems Support
• Answer queries and support Fund Accountants with their Daily Processes

Person Specifications

Key Requirements:

• Strong IT skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of SQL and T-SQL would be beneficial but not essential
• Knowledge of different asset types including equities, fixed income, Futures and Options
• Knowledge of various corporate action types including dividends, stock dividends, rights offering, spin offs and mergers
• Knowledge of Advent Geneva, Paladyne, Bloomberg, IDC
• Knowledge of security and pricing reference Data
• Quick learner who can take initiative
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written;
• High attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately
• Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service orientation
• Professional and proactive approach to work;
• Strong organisational skills, concern for quality & accuracy and working to strict deadlines;
